Research and Development Officer of Suspension and Componentry

An excellent opportunity exists for a skilled individual to head our Research & Development section of the business. The R&D department is seen as an integral part of the future growth of our business.

Do you have a background in Automotive, Motorsport or Transport Industries? Do you know the in’s and out’s of suspension and componentry? Do you wish to be apart of a team who is focused on developing and improving suspension?

Then you might be the person that Carrolls Springs is looking for.

An ideal person for this position would have a very good understanding of suspension and the dynamics behind it. You would also need to displaying a passion in the development of suspension and its components.

Training to further your current skills will also be offered as well as opportunities to travel to interstate branches from time to time.

You will be responsible for:
- Design and development of products.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers
- Quality control
- Support the manufacture of new products
- New product development

Ideally you will have:
- Suspension, Mechanical or Engineering
- Shock absorber dyno knowledge
- A “what ever it takes” attitude
- Excellent time management skill
- Work unsupervised
- Team player
- CAD skills
- Good analytical skills
- Current drivers license


A generous salary will be offered depended on qualifications & experience and will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
